Inventory Controller 

Location: Onsite - Brownwood, TX
 
 
Competitive Compensation: Starting at$21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for nightshifts.

Shift Needed:
 5:00 am-5:30 pm on a 2-2-3rotating schedule.

We are looking to fill an Inventory Controller position within our Plastic's Division. Thisposition will be based at our Brownwood, TX location,where we specialize in manufacturing high-quality bathroom products, includingluxury bathtubs and toilets.

 

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

  • Monitors inventory control system and troubleshoot variances. 

  • Controls production footprints and storage of components. 

  • Monitors daily inventory movements. 

  • Performs material planning as required. 

  • Oversee normal operations of the storeroom. 

  • Train Storeroom associates as necessary 

  • Facilitate Brownwood service parts functions. 

  • Receive parts into storeroom. 

  • Pull and issue parts from the storeroom. 

  • Complete SAP transactions for parts issued. 

  • Complete daily transaction audits of all adjustment transactions in the cage. 

  • Completes daily production orders for cardboard and components. 

  • Notifies materials group of any materials outages. 

  • Keeps equipment in good working condition and advises supervision when repairs or maintenance is necessary. 

  • Practices good safety and housekeeping rules. 

  • Performs daily cycle counts as directed by supervision. 

  • Performs duties using either a standup forklift or a sit-down forklift. 

  • Performs all duties as assigned by supervision.

Key Qualifications 

  • Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship. 

  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes. 

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Must be able to pass forklift training for standup and sit-down forklifts to receive the necessary licensing to perform job. 

  • High school graduate or equivalent is preferred. 

  • Forklift experience is beneficial but not required and basic math skills. 

  • A combination of education and experience within a manufacturing environment may be substituted totaling a minimum of 6 years. 

  • Must have excellent teamwork and communicative skills. 

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications and various database applications, SAP experience preferred.

Additional Requirements 

  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 50 pounds or more.
