What are the responsibilities of a line cook? 

  • Ensure that the kitchen areas are properly stocked and sanitized; 

  • Develop your knowledge and skills in the most effective food prep, stocking, and cleaning methods; 

  • Carefully follow safety standards, maintain awareness of safety hazards, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons), and properly report as found;  

  • Utilize and suggest the most efficient and effective culinary practices to ensure that guests have the best dining experience every time; 

  • Work as a team to accomplish the goal of providing exceptional dining experiences for all guests; 

  • Willing to complete any and all other work as required. 

 

How will you be successful in this role? 

  • Prior customer service and culinary experience 

  • Currently have a Food Safety certificate or can complete training during initial 60 days  

  • Ability to complete the following tasks: 

    • Lift, pull and push up to 50lbs occasionally and 15lbs regularly 

    • Bend and squat repeatedly 

    • Walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift 

  • Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
