The Manager of New Product Acceleration is a key member of the new Optum Insight Product and Market Activation team. This role is responsible for supporting the acceleration of new commercial product launches. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the product leadership team, and the UHG enterprise organization to ensure the timely and successful launch of new commercial product ideas. This individual will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get projects accomplished, working in the “gray”, and taking initiative to build relationships needed for success across Optum. We are looking for a highly talented and innovative individual with strong product and analytical skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support leadership in defining, planning, and accelerating new product initiatives and goals
- Develop program plans, track status, identify deviations, and suggest plans to remediate
- Collaborate with product leadership in providing reports and analysis
- Facilitate cross-Optum dialogue, communicate priorities, and ensure alignment
- Drive issue and gap resolution, monitor operational performance, and manage matrix partners
- Maintain cadence of matrix partner discussions and ensure follow-through of identified actions
- Develop solid relationships with Optum Insight Product leadership and business partners
- Assist in creating better alignment with business partners across business units, segments, and functional areas
- Identify gaps across the business and opportunities to streamline processes; formulate recommendations and execute
- Respond to and execute against ad-hoc requests
- Attend key internal meetings, manage preparation, and facilitate meetings and events
- Develop and coordinate strategic presentations for internal and external audiences
- Ensure consistency in presentations, reports, and correspondence
- Execute rhythm of business activities, including performance reporting and meeting cadence
- Drive meeting agendas that represent key initiatives and overall business priorities
- Facilitate events and meetings for internal and external participants

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Product, Strategy, or Program Management
- 3+ years of health industry experience in a large complex matrixed organization
- 2+ years of consulting experience
- Experience driving initiatives in a heavily matrixed environment
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution
- Demonstrated solid communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to build, mobilize, drive decisions, and motivate others to deliver results
- Demonstrated ability to investigate open issues and thoroughly answer critical questions
- Demonstrated ability to identify and address conflicting priorities, solve problems, and lead through change
- Ability to travel when required - 25%+ outside of home market

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
