Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff F-35 Courseware Simulation Trainer SME to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located at Eglin AFB. In this role, you will provide aircraft systems, mission systems, tactics, and instructional Subject Matter Expertise in support of courseware development and sustainment for the F-35 training system. Responsibilities include: Interpret technical source data to include engineering documents, F-35 Flight Series Data (FSD), and tactics manuals for applicability in creating new or updating existing lessons. Review existing courseware for continued technical accuracy and instructional relevance as aircraft capabilities change and source data is updated. Provide technical direction to courseware developers and graphic artists. Create highly detailed storyboards for lesson development. Establish strong working relationships with contract partners, suppliers, and military customers. Strong writing skills and ability to work collaboratively to support and/or lead new growth efforts to improve instructional product processes. Interpret technical data from multiple sources and use it to create accurate and high-quality instructional products. Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor Degree with at least 12 years of related military / professional flight training experience OR a master's degree with at least 10 years of related military / professional flight training experience OR a Ph.D. with at least 8 years of related military / professional flight training experience. Must have an active Secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last six years or be enrolled in Continuous Evaluation. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company. Preferred Qualifications: At least 10 years as a military pilot or Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) in fourth and/or fifth generation tactical aircraft. Flight Instructor experience. F-35 Program experience. Fighter Jet Experience.
