EDUCATION AND/OR SPECIAL TRAINING
Requires mechanically inclined individual, whom have worked in a manufacturing or mechanical environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Employee will go thru a specialized training before he/she begins on the job training to evaluate their ability to perform said duties.
- Employee will be trained to trouble-shoot and perform preventive maintenance on molds and related peripherals.
- Will be able to safely install and remove molds from injecting molding machine according to the working procedures and 5ās checklist.
- Prepare and submit Daily Log sheet, MRR (Mold Repair Request) and PM (Preventive Maintenance Request) as required in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in performing all tasks related to the 5S Checklist, utilizing the application aforementioned production peripherals.
- Adheres to approved Company, Safety, and Department policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred manufacturing background in Injection Molding.
- Mechanically Inclined basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Managers and supervisors.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem-solve.
