Summary
Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures by the administration of Radiopharmaceuticals. Maintains accurate patient records of administered radiopharmaceuticals for compliance with proper authorities. Thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices and techniques. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enable accurate patient positioning and ability to judge the acceptability of diagnostic images.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Completion of accredited Radiology Technology or Nuclear Medicine Program
Required Licenses/Certifications
Nuclear Medicine Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB. MRT certification. CPR Certification
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Good communication and customer service skills.
