The Ecolab Dish Machine Equipment Plant in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its industry leading manufacturing team. The successful candidate must “lean in” to challenges, drive continuous improvement, and establish innovative solutions to support ongoing product innovation and cost-reduction initiatives. This role will have the opportunity to own projects across functions and will work with plant leadership, corporate engineering teams, and regulatory bodies to drive results.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with manufacturing team members and field service technicians to solve customer-centric problems as a servant leader.
  • Utilize the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology to tactically manage cross-functional teams that execute safety, quality, service, and savings improvements.
  • Initiate and implement engineering design and specification changes including major changes associated with new product introduction and implementation.
  • Pilot, trial, and build business cases to implement new manufacturing technologies.
  • Share expertise in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventative Action planning.
  • Act as a data analyst that extracts actionable insights from quality KPIs.
  • Write, revise, review, edit and implement work instructions and quality alerts.
  • Enable a strong quality culture that focuses on adherence to standards and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Cultivate positive and professional relationships with fellow Ecolab colleagues around the world for idea sharing and business improvements
  • Minimal travel for training opportunities, conferences, audits, facility visits, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment in quality, manufacturing, R&D, or engineering.
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Experience.
  • ASQ CQE and/or CQA Certification.
  • ISO 9001 Auditor Certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
  • Familiarity with UL, ETL, and NSF regulatory compliance.
  • Experience using Total Productive Maintenance principles in a TPM production environment.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $72,700.00 - $109,100.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
