Position Purpose:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides exceptional patient care through evaluation, program planning, and implementation of therapy interventions to restore function and prevent disability. The PTA also promotes physical therapy by educating students, staff, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assist in evaluating and implementing patient care plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and maintaining accurate treatment records.

Position Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum from a CAPTE-accredited program.

Licenses/Certificates: Current Georgia license to practice as a PTA; successful completion of approved PTA education and examination.
