Our client, a leading aerospace engineering company, is seeking a Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer to join their team. As a Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer, you will be part of the Systems Safety and Development Assurance team, supporting multiple airplane programs. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.
 
Job Title: Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer
Location: Everett, WA (Onsite)
 
What’s the Job?

  • Support the development of certification artifacts such as Functional Hazard Assessment, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Conduct systems safety analyses and manage system-level requirements for multiple airplane programs.
  • Develop and improve requirements management processes and tools.
  • Perform design and documentation for Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems models.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies to develop certification criteria and methods.
 
What’s Needed?
  • 7-10 years of experience in systems safety analysis.
  • 7-10 years of experience in flight controls.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with certification deliverables for safety compliance in aerospace.
  • CAFTA experience is preferred.
