Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer or a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Requirements and Verification lead for a program out of our Fairfax, VA or Morrisville, NC locations. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will Supports R&V Lead in requirement decomposition, and system definition. Basic Qualifications: Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience. Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD with 3 years of experience. Active TS/SCI clearance or have an active TS with SCI eligibility. Familiarity or willingness to learn with CAMEO, and Ground SW Systems. Experience developing a process to maintain a configured baseline for requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience writing requirements in CAMEO. Familiarity with other areas of Systems Engineering such as Integration & Test. Willingness to support any Phase 2 Proposal R&V needs.
