Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to serve as the Mathematical Algorithmic Requirements/Software Description Documents Lead in support a program out of our Fairfax, VA or Morrisville, NC locations. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will lead the efforts defining the SDD/MAR implementation for phase 1B while performing the following tasks: Defining development roadmap for SDD needs in support of the Software demo schedule. Coordinating with SEIT Lead and SW Lead to define Maturity of SDD Deliverables. Working closely with SW and SE Team to define requirement to SDD mapping. Basic Qualifications: Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD with 3 years of experience. Active TS/SCI clearance required at the of application or have an active TS with SCI eligibility. Familiarity with MAR Development for a Ground System. Willingness to support any Phase 2 proposal needs. Preferred Qualifications: Working level knowledge of CAMEO. General knowledge of Ground SW Systems and ground segment architecture. Experience writing Interface Control Documents (ICD).
