Calling all CPAs: Do you pride yourself on your ability to manage complexities? Do you enjoy collaborating across teams? Fisher Investments is looking to add a new Senior Tax Accountant to the team! You will play an important part in maintaining accuracy in our increased tax reporting and contribute in preparing domestic and international tax filings, while staying current on tax rules and regulations.

 

The Opportunity:

 

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will work with a team who is dedicated to mitigating risk while ensuring global compliance in all jurisdictions Fisher Investments has a taxable presence in. As we continue to grow, you can expect to help manage increased tax compliance and advisory activities. There are opportunities for you to participate in projects that speak to your unique tax strengths, and directly influence the team by helping automate existing processes. You will report to Tax Management, who will facilitate your training.

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Prepare domestic and international tax filings

  • Directly collaborate with outside CPA firms to manage tax compliance

  • Research tax rules and regulations for direct and indirect taxes

  • Maintain company policies and procedures

  • Automate and improve existing processes and methodologies

Your Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or private sectors

  • CPA certification required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

Compensation:

  • $110,000 - $115,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience

  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
