Northrop Grumman is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Professional (EHS Engineer 3) to join our Corporate Environment, Health and Safety team. The primary role of this position will be to lead occupational health and safety efforts across the Corporate organization real estate portfolio. This position will be located in our Falls Church, VA location. Key roles and responsibilities include: Support Corporate offices and Flight Operations with required EHS programs, training and inspections to ensure compliance, injury prevention and risk mitigation. Complete accident/incident investigations to help determine root cause and corrective actions. Complete ergonomic evaluations. Conduct management systems evaluations as part of internal EHS compliance audits. Assist in review and interpretation of existing and proposed EHS regulations to determine applicability and impact on operations. Administer company membership in occupational health and safety organizations and vendor subscriptions. Assist in planning for changes in physical facilities to meet EHS requirements. Partner with business leaders to continuously improve the culture, awareness and accountability in support of EHS programs. Support the company’s occupational health and safety programs.
