Northrop Grumman is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer 4 to join our Corporate Environment, Health and Safety team located in Falls Church, Virginia. The selected applicant will be responsible for successfully developing, implementing and managing all health and safety programs in accordance with government and company requirements. This position will be located in our Falls Church, VA location. Key roles and responsibilities include: Administer the company’s internal EHS compliance audit program and conduct management systems evaluations. Develop and implement company health and safety compliance policies, procedures and strategies. Oversee occupational health and safety compliance and training programs. Liaison with external health and safety organizations and vendors. Direct and mentor junior staff. Develop and lead enterprise-wide health and safety initiatives. Represent company in government and industry rule-making activities. Partner with engineers, scientists and management to support the integration of health and safety into the design of new or altered processes and operations and building construction projects. Collaborate with senior leadership to continuously improve the culture, awareness and accountability in support of health and safety programs.
