LPN Home Care Coordinator - Fargo, ND

Interim HealthCare of Fargo is hiring! We are seeking a Home Care Coordinator who will work closely with field employees and homecare clients.  This positions pay rate is $24 to $27 per hour and includes rotating call during the week which you are paid $2 per hour and the weekends you are paid $3 per hour.

**The right person for this job will be very proficient in Microsoft Office products, have good communication skills, and have a fun, energetic, and outgoing personality! You will need to be personable, friendly and well-versed with effective communication and customer service. Having experience interviewing as well as scheduling staff is a must.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • LPN and minimal 1 year of home care experience scheduling employees
  • Experience in hiring and on-boarding employees
  • Previous experience in working with senior population a plus.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local government laws and regulations, as well as policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare.
  • Assist with ensuring all requirements of the office are in full compliance.
  • Receives referral calls, documents intake for client services, schedules care professionals for home care or staffing assignments.
  • Oversees all phases of the selection process, including posting, screening, interviewing, negotiating initial offers and orienting the new employee. Designs and delivers effective new employee orientations as needed to improve employee initial engagement with the Company.
  • Builds relationships with clients and field staff.
  • Actively manages available field staff to maximize hours worked.
  • Coordinates, supervises and evaluates the paraprofessional field staff.
  • Assists in payroll and billing functions as needed.
  • Conduct home visits.
  • Supervises collection and distribution of mail.
  • Follows policies and procedures as directed.
  • Works with supervisor and other team members towards office and business goals.
  • Takes appropriate and timely measures to meet the needs of the customer and employees.
  • Maintains mature problem solving approach under stressful circumstances.
  • Follows pay and bill structures set by office. Obtains appropriate approval for overtime, rewards or motivators for field staff, from supervisor.
  • Assists with administrative and clerical tasks as directed.
  • Responsible for orders being filled by qualified personnel in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for taking action when issues and problems are identified under the supervision of Client Service Supervisor.
  • Responsible for recruitment and interviewing of Care Professional staff and ongoing training and motivation of staff.
  • Develops sound customer objectives and strategies, identifies and meets/exceeds customer expectations, as well as maintaining customer relationships in an ongoing effort to drive higher levels of customer satisfaction under the supervision of owner.
  • Oversees and ensures Care Professional education.
  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
  • May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities.  Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.

  • 8:00am-4:30pm
  • On Call rotation
