We are seeking an accomplished office administrator with a robust background in managing bids for projects, assisting accounts payable processes, navigating bid letting procedures, and proficiently handling QuickBooks and union paperwork. The ideal person bring a wealth of expertise to your team. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to project management, you would be adept at ensuring seamless operations and compliance within the demanding landscape of construction administration.  Your commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and strong communication skills enables you to effectively coordinate complex tasks and contribute to the smooth functioning of our organization.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the owner in the bidding process
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Responsible for searching bid lettings in 12 states
  • Assist with accounts payable, matching prices with quotes and reporting
  • Learn payroll process
  • Assist with IFTA Reporting for Heavy Highway Tax
  • Learn and create Heavy Hauling Billings
  • Maintain Maintenance Logs for Heavy Trucks
  • Crossing Training
Requirements:
  • Expertise with Excel and MS Word
  • Experience with Cost Accounting
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Quickbooks
  • Attention to detail-MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT
  • Team player and works well with others
  • Complete understanding of construction processes from inception to closure
