A Brief Overview
The Estimator uses computer technology and mathematical skill to prepare an estimation of the amount of material needed for the construction of a MF-multi-family in accordance with Company policies.

What you will do

Estimate the amount of materials needed for MF-multi-family construction according to company policy and local building code.
Assist salesmen as needed with customer orders and materials lists.
Assist in trim take-offs as requested.
Assist sales staff with blueprint reading and construction procedures.
Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

Experience Qualifications

1-3 years construction and building materials related experience required.

Skills and Abilities

Ability to read blueprints and other technical materials.
Ability to operate networked computer systems and specialized software application programs and to instruct others in effective use of application software.
Must have excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills.
Understanding of measurements and basic math principles.
