Director, Platform & Delivery Management

The Director, Platform & Delivery Management designs, analyzes, and supports the company's information technology structure, systems, and processes. Acquires, designs, implements, and operates the company's information technology resources (e.g., computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data, databases, etc.). Deploys, acquires, maintains, and ensures security of information technology assets. Plans and tests processes to ensure compliance with system requirements, business objectives, security standards and other technical requirements.

Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and updating electronic data systems in accordance with the needs of the company. Activities include evaluating, scheduling, and resourcing development projects, investigating user needs, writing, testing, and maintaining computer programs, and preparing systems documentation. Executes technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, development, unit, and component testing.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads and promotes strategic direction of Data Management Technologies based on business requirements.
  • Serves as a point cross-functional technical leader on various projects.
  • Develops and maintains solution architecture blueprints.
  • Envisions, develops, proves, and articulates innovative solutions to business requirements.
  • Defines systems/platforms architecture and integration strategy and recommend design solutions.
  • Evaluates and recommends technology acquisitions and alternative solutions/methodologies/strategies.
  • Performs Proof of Concept testing in a lab environment.
  • Coordinates work plans to achieve expected results per expected timelines by utilizing resources from all parts of the organization.
  • Anticipates business needs and research technologies that would be appropriate to meet those business needs.
  • Articulates emerging technologies, their strengths, weaknesses, risks, and their application within enterprise.
  • Advises and consults on technologies costs, benefits, and implementation requirements.
  • Seeks opportunities to implement standards, policies, and process improvements.
  • Develops processes to ensure alignment between the business strategies and applied technology roadmap.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science Engineering or equivalent discipline.

Work Experience:

12+ Years Demonstrated experience around designing architecture, leading POC's, and leading implementation efforts.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience working with Informatica Cloud Tooling ( CDQ, IDMC, CDGC )
  • Experience in setting up of Secure Agents for connecting to different data sources
  • Experience working on Address Verifier, Data validation against third party data, Profiling and monitoring, Exception Handling and other CDQ features
  • Hands-on experience with both CDQ and IDQ for data quality rule implementation and customization.
  • Strong migration experience from on prem hybrid or full Cloud Implementation
  • Strong experience in implementing automation migration processes.
  • Hands-on experience with PL/SQL scripting for data quality rule implementation and customization.
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles, data governance concepts, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data quality issues.

  • Strong python experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Snowflake and Denodo is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.

  • Exposure to multiple hosting environments such as AIX, Linux, Windows Server, HP Servers

  • Proven track record managing large, complex software development/integration projects in both host and distributed environments.
