SUMMARY
Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include the following:Â
- Drives truck to destination. Truck type may vary based on assignment – flat bed, stake bed or closed box trailers.Â
- Prepares receipts for load picked up.
- Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
- Maintains telephone contact with supervisor or lead to receive delivery instructions.
- Loads and unloads truck.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
- Other duties may be assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Current Class "A" driver's license.
