Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a Network Communications Manager 2 to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Leavenworth in Leavenworth, Kansas. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval. Conducts overall management coordination for all training environments: technical, networking, exercise design, and required operational support. Manages integrated teams of subject matter experts in networking, cyber security, and Mission Command Systems (Fires, Intel, Manuever, and Air). Leads the technical team to: install, operate, integrate, and troubleshoot communications, applications, and configurations; establish network addresses and connections; monitor and analyze system performance; recommend and perform application maintenance and upgrade applications as needed; conduct data backups and system recovery; install information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) patches, security updates, respond to critical vulnerabilities, and conduct remediation before, during, and after training exercises using the JLCCTC suite and a friend of the federation. Coordinates Mission Command Assistance Team (MCAT) support at the Mission Training Center (MTC) or the Training Unit Commander (TUC) point of need.
