LSF is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant II who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.
Purpose and Impact:
The Administrative Assistant II provides direct clerical and administrative support to our clinical and residential team to ensure the smooth operation of the program and facilities.
Essential Functions:
- Provide administrative/program support for clinical and residential services including, but not limited to, drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings and travel, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.
- Maintain client and personnel files.
- Serves as Human Resources liaison for program staff including processing and onboarding potential applicants and new hires.
- Participates in all required in-service training sessions and attends all mandatory staff meetings.
- Prepares end of month reports and statistical data and submits to Program Director in a timely manner.
- Maintains adequate supplies for the program.
- Attends and participates in other agency outreach and fundraising events as assigned.
- Maintains effective working relationship with residential team and community partners and stakeholders, as well as outside vendors.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. Must have a high level of energy, be adaptable to irregular hours. Ability to travel locally and out of local area in the execution of professional duties and for training/conferences. Must be able to carry/lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Post-Secondary education preferred.
Experience:
2-3 years of office administration experience required.

- Good written and verbal communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to function in a team setting.
- Dependability, discretion, and good judgment are essential.
- Must be able to build rapport with clients being served in the program environment.
- Must be able to work well with groups and clients of varying socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds and belief systems.
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, the general public and the professional community.
- Must be able to maintain high level of professional responsibility in reporting activities, conduct and overall support to residential team.
Other:
Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs. Must also have:
- A clean/valid Florida Driver License for at least (2) years and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and drug test.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Reports to Program Director
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Adherence to legal, license and quality assurance standards and contract requirements.
- Accurate, complete, and timely submission of all reports.
- Effective working relationship with service providers and clients.
- Adherence to LSF personnel policies and procedures.
- Team player with co-workers, administrators, local, regional and state agencies.
