Specific Accountabilities:
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ensure that all Company policies and requirements are met and that all batches are completed within the necessary time frame to meet production needs.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner.
- To be responsible for ensuring that “right first time” Quality is always a priority and that quality is never compromised.
- Ensure that all Company and Regulatory Quality and Safety Standards are adhered to.
General Day to Day Tasks:
- Accurate batching of high value ingredients to tight tolerance standards.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing records conforming to all written procedures.
- Ensure all Company Good Manufacturing Standards are met at all times.
- Ensure all Safety Standards (Company or Regulatory) are met at all times.
- Analysis of raw materials prior to batching, as well as analysis of finished product using a variety of techniques and lab equipment.
- Ensuring that the department adheres to the strictest levels of hygiene and cleanliness and adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations.
- Maintenance of concentrate inventory within the Company Inventory Control System.
- Verification and correct rotation of all concentrates and additives.
- Cleaning and Sanitation of all syrup tanks following the appropriate process as determined by flavor characteristics and flush matrix.
- Follow the facility’s food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results. Responsible for notifying a person with the authority to take action for any Food Safety or Food Quality issue
