The Staff Pad is seeking a Manager of Operations for our growing client in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Manager of Operations is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to grow the service line, ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and financial strength. This role supports the Service Line Medical Director(s) in developing strategies, implementing tactics, and delivering patient and family-centered care.

 

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Planning: Develops and executes strategic and operational plans to foster growth and stabilize the work environment, with a focus on building programs.
  • Financial Management: Monitors operating, capital, and payroll budgets, recommending corrective actions to ensure the department meets its financial goals. Provides accurate financial data to support departmental management.
  • Performance Measurement: Develops quantitative metrics to assess the financial and operational impact of decisions. Utilizes data from various sources to optimize departmental performance.
  • Project Management: Identifies and proposes special projects, business plans, and models that enhance service line accessibility and quality, including educational initiatives, research, and publications.
  • Quality Management: Manages and develops quality management practices to deliver effective and efficient services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educational Resource: Serves as an educator and resource for practitioners, patients, families, administration, and other departments, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Partnerships and Alliances: Facilitates strategic alliances and partnerships for clinical expansion and community engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stays updated on industry developments, trends, and advancements by participating in seminars, workshops, and professional organizations.
  • Collaboration: Works with service leaders across the care continuum to achieve organizational goals. Maintains effective communication with leadership regarding changes impacting policies or procedures.
  • Staff Management: Selects, trains, supervises, motivates, and evaluates employees, ensuring maximum utilization of individual and group capabilities. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in a health-related field with specialized training in the assigned service line.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • At least 5 years of overall healthcare experience. 
  • 5 years of overall management experience.
  • Care Manager Certification from a nationally accredited organization.
  • LEAN philosophy training with Green Belt certification or eligibility.
