Maintenance Electrician

Full-time, year-round Electrician

• Salary Details: This is an hourly, Union, Full-time position paying up to $39.00 p/hr. 
• Job Status: Full-time, year-round, Union
• Position level: Mid-level
• Shift: Currently days, must be able to work 40+ hours per week and open to work a variety of shifts including weekends if needed. 
• Must be willing to join the local Electrician Union

Overview: 

The Maintenance Electrician will provide electrical support, maintenance repairs on food equipment, and lighting. Maintenance and repairs on Amusement Rides, repairs for the Hotels, Waterparks, Campgrounds, Marina, and any other areas of the Facility. 

• Maintain and troubleshoot controls and lights on rides, buildings, signs, & overhead lighting as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Externtainment Co.
• Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to Supervisor.
• Read and interpret electrical prints/ schematics
• Provide excellent guest service. 
• Meets attendance requirements and personal conduct. 
• Meets Scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

• Journeyman Electrician desired, not necessary 
• Must join Electrical union if not already a member
• Ability to pass mandatory (or random ) drug test, per company policy unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Must be 18 and able to pass background check, which may include, but not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references.
• Must have a valid U.S. drivers license.
