IT Project Manager

Job Summary
Leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of single or multiple well-defined projects or components of larger programs. Uses project management tools and techniques to define project scope, develop plans, allocate resources, execute IT initiatives, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Oversees all project phases, including scope definition, scheduling, resource planning, risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, change management, and reporting. Ensures projects align with organizational goals and are completed on time and within budget. Collaborates across teams to drive decision-making, optimize workflows, and implement change management strategies. Coordinates vendor activities and third-party services to ensure seamless project execution. Builds positive relationships with all levels of the organization to deliver successful outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required (or must be obtained within one year of hire).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: At least four (4) years of IT project management experience, including familiarity with project management tools, business process design, and technical system implementations. Healthcare IT experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Additional relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Education: Candidates with five (5) years of healthcare project management experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
