As a Plastipak Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, layout, design, and installation of manufacturing systems.

You Will

  • Design layouts for machines, infrastructure, and general manufacturing processes
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, plant personnel & multiple plant locations.
  • Working with vendors to ensure proper equipment requirements and ensuring delivery of machines/equipment to desired location at the agreed upon time.
  • Develop budgets and alternatives.
  • Safety/EHS - Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times; and provide leadership to immediately resolve/eliminate any unsafe conditions.
  • Process Project Management through SAP.
  • Lead Reliability Improvement Projects.
  • Participate in general maintenance duties to maintain facilities and grounds.

You Have

  • A bachelor’s   degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; or related field
  • Strong computer skills with a proficiency in SAP and AutoCAD.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • ability to travel as needed, up to 80% (4/5 days a week).
