RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop business by establishing and maintaining client relationships within the life sciences industry with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturers and CROs.
- Identify sales opportunities and develop / execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue; stay up to date on market / industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Conduct meetings, both remotely and in person, with existing and prospective clients.
- Create proposals and lead contract discussions with existing and prospective clients.
- Document and report out on business development activities, including lead generation, sales pipeline, client feedback, and other various KPMs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of experience in business development within the life sciences industry, specifically clinical research and/or commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging
- Strong understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations and documentation practices
- Familiarity of the pharmaceutical supply chain and clinical trial processes
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills within various levels of an organization
- Willingness and ability to travel to existing and prospective client sites as needed
- Experience working with CDMOs or CROs highly preferred, but not required
