Our client is a leader in clinical supplies management looking for a fully remote Business Development Representative to join their team on a full-time, direct hire basis.  
  
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Develop business by establishing and maintaining client relationships within the life sciences industry with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturers and CROs. 
  • Identify sales opportunities and develop / execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue; stay up to date on market / industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Conduct meetings, both remotely and in person, with existing and prospective clients.  
  • Create proposals and lead contract discussions with existing and prospective clients. 
  • Document and report out on business development activities, including lead generation, sales pipeline, client feedback, and other various KPMs. 
  
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • 8+ years of experience in business development within the life sciences industry, specifically clinical research and/or commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging 
  • Strong understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations and documentation practices 
  • Familiarity of the pharmaceutical supply chain and clinical trial processes 
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills within various levels of an organization 
  • Willingness and ability to travel to existing and prospective client sites as needed 
  • Experience working with CDMOs or CROs highly preferred, but not required
