Location: 9900 Jeb Stuart Pkwy, Glen Valley, VA 

Shifts: Sunday-Thursday, 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM. +$2.00 shift differential
 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Associate to provide operational support within a fully automated PkMS-enabled Distribution Center. This role requires a blend of technical skills and hands-on troubleshooting to ensure the effective functionality of our automated systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the use and functionality of automated equipment.
  • Implement and maintain effective preventative maintenance plans for all equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems.
  • Oversee maintenance modifications and system upgrades.
  • Assess equipment efficiency and recommend necessary modifications.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Technical vocational training or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, illustrated parts breakdowns (IPB), and electrical circuitry diagrams.
  • Strong aptitude for repair and maintenance activities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and personal computers.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of high and low voltage equipment.
  • Previous troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory to ensure safety protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Steel toe shoes are required.
