STAFF CHIROPRACTOR

The Staff Chiropractor and/or Clinic Director is a clinical position which is responsible for the treatment and management of personal injury, other third party, and wellness patients in a multi-specialty setting. We currently have openings in several of our 17 locations around metro Atlanta. The compensation includes a base salary plus bonus opportunities, and starts in the mid-90s for entry-level staff chiropractors and goes up to the mid-120s for experienced leaders in clinic director positions.

We adhere to a multi-disciplinary approach, integrating the power of chiropractic medicine in concert with medical specialties, physical therapy, interventional spine procedures, and joint & spine surgery. This position is NOT a good fit for someone who strictly practices a straight chiropractic philosophy.

Position Duties

The position requires the following primary duties to be successful:
  • Performs all clinical duties as it relates to the care of patients at AICA Orthopedics
  • Co-supervises and mentors all medical assistants and support staff for the chiropractic program including clinical and administrative function
  • Co-manages relationships and communication among local chiropractic department and team members
  • Effectively communicates clinical and non-clinical information as it pertains to the patients with other staff chiropractors, clinic directors, chiropractic administrators, orthopedic and medical managers, and/or executive leadership as deemed necessary
Position Expectations
  • Strong orthopedic and neurological background: fluid, competent, and proficient with all orthopedic tests (joint & spine) and neurological packages
  • Extremely competent in x-ray and x-ray interpretation
  • Understands the importance of advanced imaging (i.e. MRI & CT) in reference to sub-acute care of injury patients
  • Exhibit exceptional knowledge of all components of personal injury and/or third-party liability service lines
  • Effectively treat, document, and manage all aspects of a patient's care and personal injury case
  • Willingness and ability to travel to other AICA locations to perform the same or similar chiropractic duties
  • Ensure facility is clean, safe, inviting, and appropriately staffed and outfitted with the help of MA trainer/manager
  • Be a positive agent for change to enhance the improvements to the chiropractic program's performance and productivity
  • Maintain our clinic hours of 9a-7p two days/week, 9a-6p two days/week, and 9-5 Fridays
  • Rotating on-call schedule throughout the year with additional higher pay on weekends
Position Metrics

The execution of the position is quantifiably measured by the following:
  • Patient Compliance
  • Total Patient Visits
  • Gross Revenue of clinic/location
  • Metrics may be changed/updated at any time at the discretion of management
Position Requirements
  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree from and accredited program with certification for therapeutic modalities AND:
  • Experience: no previous experience required.
  • Five to ten years experience for clinic directors, plus previous experience running a clinic for self/others.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Be team oriented and able to work with various managers, staff, and providers
  • Be able to make sound decisions while on the move in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact, engage and communicate effectively with team members, licensed medical providers, patients, and executive management when necessary
  • Preferred: Ability to effectively multi-task under time pressure
Position Miscellaneous
  • Physical Demands: frequent sitting, standing, bending, stooping and walking;"occasional lifting up to 20-40 pounds; occasional periods of uninterrupted standing
