POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Completes CORE requirements
  • Employee maintains current license and/or certifications required for the position
  • Is knowledgeable of compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Brings any questions or concerns to the immediate attention of administrative staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance.

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program, required.

LICENSE(S)/CERTIFICATION(S):

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration or eligibility, required.
  • Current State Licensure, required.
  • BLS, required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of X-ray Equipment and Procedures, required.
  • Anatomy and Physiology, required.
  • Knowledge of Radiation Safety, required.
  • Ability to follow and apply written direction, required.
  • Attention to Detail when performing radiological exams, required.
  • Computer and keyboard skills, required.

OTHER:

  • Use of unusual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
