What You Will Do:  

  • Responsible for organizing the daily workload 
  • Utilizes appropriate technology and tools to facilitate inventory control activities, cycle counts, warehouse activity monitor, SAP reports, RF scanner and bar coding 
  • Completes daily cycle counts by performing initial & secondary counts, researching and validating all inventory variances, causes for follow-up actions and reviewing the weekly inventory adjustments reports with manager 
  • Researches all potential dock cuts for validity, approval and corrective action 
  • Handles all scrap and obsolete inventory disposal by verifying, picking and disposing of damaged, obsolete, SAN and warranty material 
  • Handles all return to vendor shipments by picking, packing and verification of the shipment 
  • Manages the PO discrepancy process by reviewing all reported shortages, overages and damages. Works with purchasing for resolution 
  • Will backfill for Inventory Lead when needed 
  • Other duties as assigned  

Position Details:  

  • Plant location: Greensboro NC
  • Shift: 1st Shift (M-F) 6A-2:30P
  • Compensation: $26.98 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • MUST HAVE: High School Diploma or GED
  • MUST HAVE: 4-year experience in Inventory Control
  • MUST BE: Proficient in MS Office suite, including data entry and keyboarding skills. SAP, Warehouse Mgt Systems
  • MUST HAVE: Proficiency with inventory applications, RF handheld computers and Barcoding 
  • MUST HAVE: 4 years' experience forklift operating Sit-down and Standup
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity 

Physical Demands:  

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs 
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Prior lead or supervisory experience 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision  

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

26.98 Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
