Job Description: Call Center Representative

The Staff Pad has partnered with a client in Montana who has a vision to be the gold standard for Healthcare. We are searching for a Call Center Representative to support the organizations mission. This Call Center Representative role is essential in providing a positive and helpful experience for patients, visitors, and staff while managing a variety of financial and customer service responsibilities. You’ll handle incoming inquiries, offer guidance on patient assistance, set up payment arrangements, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to patient financial services. This position also involves assessing patient eligibility for financial programs, managing account transfers, and representing the organization in collection efforts if necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Collect deposits, deductibles, or co-insurance payments at various stages of the patient experience.
  • Provide estimates for insured and uninsured patients upon request.
  • Evaluate financial status and documentation to determine payment methods or eligibility for assistance programs, working with external partners when needed.
  • Document all pertinent patient account information promptly and accurately.
  • Handle inquiries related to billing, insurance activity, payment plans, and patient assistance.
  • Make outbound calls to set up payment plans and follow up on past-due accounts.
  • Manage accounts assigned to collection agencies and process related correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and support business office management with unresolved issues.


  • Requirements

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with computers and familiarity with multiple accounting systems.
  • Strong organization, mathematical, and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, medical terminology, and insurance protocols.
  • Completion of Patient Financial Services I training within five months of hire.
