**THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE ROLE IN HELENA, MT**

Job Description

The Quality Data & Validation Specialist for the St. Peter’s Medical Group Quality Department supports the mission of the organization.  This position will provide data entry and data base management are the essential component of this position.  This position supports data management for the Quality Payment Program (QPP), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+), and ongoing value based quality improvement initiatives as required by DPHHS, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid, and BCBSMT. Assists with health maintenance clean up to ensure data integrity and accuracy of the patient’s medical records, including attribution to the appropriate primary care provider for allocation of incentive payments. 

Responsibilities

QUALITY DATA & VALIDATION FUNCTIONS

  1. Analyzes information of a complex nature. 
  2. Organizes/prioritizes multiple complex tasks. 
  3. Proficient in the EMR applications, Internet searches and relevant databases. 
  4. Works independently and under pressure to follow through on issues. 
  5. Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. 
  6. Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. 
  7. Works effectively with other employees and external parties.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:  3-5 years experience in an office setting with high volume customer contact required.  Attention to detail with experience in data entry.  Proven aptitude with PowerPoint, Excel and Access knowledge would be preferred. Excellent Typing skills. 

EDUCATION:  High school graduation or GED preferred.  Two years college or business school preferred.
