Job Description: Wound Care RN - Wound Care Clinic

The Staff Pad has partnered with a client in Montana who has a vision to be the gold standard for Healthcare. We are searching for a Wound Care RN to support the organizations mission. As a Wound Care RN, provide direct and indirect care to patients in the Wound Care Center under provider supervision. The role involves critical thinking, leadership, and multitasking to ensure efficient clinic flow and optimal patient care. The RN will conduct patient assessments, manage care plans, perform nursing procedures independently, and educate patients. They will assist in physician procedures and provide mentorship to staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and assess patient data in collaboration with the team.
  • Perform and document patient assessments, including physical and pain assessments.
  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) after training.
  • Educate patients and guide them through their care journey.
  • Provide emotional support and advocate for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient conditions.
  • Assist with referrals and coordinate care.
  • Respond to patient calls and ensure timely care delivery.


  • Requirements

    Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience preferred or new graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience in skin/wound assessment preferred.
  • Licensed in Montana as a Registered Nurse with CPR certification; WCC/CWS certification preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
