The Staff Pad is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a hospital in Helena, Montana. The Physical Therapist will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients. This individual will assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and provide compassionate care in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment:Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional status.
  • Treatment Planning:Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities to improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and enhance functional independence.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on exercises, activities, and strategies to improve outcomes and prevent injury or re-injury.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly reassess patients' progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to infection control protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards of practice to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  • Professional Development:Stay updated on advances in physical therapy practice, participate in continuing education activities, and pursue professional certifications or credentials as appropriate.



Requirements


  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or graduate of an accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensure: Current State Physical Therapy Licensure. 
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
