Job Description: RN Behavioral Health - Nights

The Staff Pad has partnered with a client in Montana who has a vision to be the gold standard for Healthcare. We are searching for an RN Behavioral Health - Nights to support the organizations mission. In this Behavioral Health RN role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a therapeutic environment. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating patient responses to treatment. You will support a safe, therapeutic milieu, administer and educate patients on mental health medications, and provide compassionate, direct care to patients. This role also involves mentoring new and less experienced nurses and communicating with the care team regarding any changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
  • Manage activities within the therapeutic environment and lead nursing care within the treatment team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of mental health medications, ensuring safe administration and patient education.
  • Respond promptly to any changes in patient condition and communicate with the healthcare team as necessary.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to newer team members, fostering a supportive learning environment.


  • Requirements

    Qualifications:

  • RN license in Montana and current BLS certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; 1-3 years of RN experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and empathy skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and challenging situations effectively.
