SSSD has an opening for a Senior Principal Financial Analyst on the cost team within the National Space Systems (NSS) Business Unit (BU). The role will report to the NSS Deputy Business Manager and will be responsible for the financial analysis of the NSS BU and supporting programs. This position requires a Department of Defense (DoD) active Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) at time of application. In this job, your key responsibilities include: Strategic planning, reporting, and analysis of key financial metrics (Sales, Margin, Cash, Awards) for the NSS BU. Includes quarterly Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessment, cash flow/balance sheet management, risk and opportunity assessment. Lead monthly and quarterly financial deliverables and analysis. Communicate financial progress and provide insight to senior leadership on regular basis. Support monthly BU Operations reviews through preparation of financial content, including Quarter and Full Year forecast variance narrative and upside/downside sensitivity assessment. Lead financial development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) through collaboration with Business Development and Program Management. Lead ad-hoc exercises for financial impact/profitability analysis. Collaborative work style: ability to interface with different functions and levels of leadership both internal and external to the BU. Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail with minimal supervision.
