Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team of talented and diverse individuals at our Redondo Beach, CA location. Roles and Responsibilities: Produces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control. Collects and submits electronic fingerprints, handprints and optical reading into systems. Maintains lock and key records. Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas. Verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances. Maintains controlled security documents and information. Support a fast-paced, high-profile program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Conduct security audits. Assist with Media Issuance, Accountability, and Destruction. Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility. Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program. Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems. Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements. Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures. Maintain access control, including UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS). Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance. Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG).
