We are seeking either a Principal Software Configuration Analyst or a Senior Principal Software Configuration Analyst to join our talented team in Redondo Beach, CA. As a Software Configuration Analyst you will support throughout the software life cycle the development, planning and implementation of a comprehensive Configuration Management (CM) process on a major program, in accordance with established CM and Data Management (DM) practices that are based on DoD and customer contract requirements. This position is contingent upon program award and/or costumer funding. The Software Configuration Analyst will be responsible for tasks including, but not limited to: Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support the configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally and externally developed software products, data, and formal documents. Coordinate and support the generation of configured builds for test and release delivery. Support generation of the documentation for the software release and configuration management process. Develop and maintain CDRL schedule, submittal requirements, metrics, and Baseline documents in a controlled system. Perform Change Management activities to a technical baseline: Maintain and manage change requests/discrepancy reports database, facilitate and scribe for control board meetings (e.g., SCCB, ERB), generate board metrics, agenda and minutes material. Communicate issues and risks pertaining to issues, solutions, and releases. Conduct and support internal and external customer audits. Contribute to training team members in the SCM Data Management tasks. Support development of software configuration processes and guidelines for company-wide use and process improvement activities. SW analysts work in an office environment and traditionally work during normal business hours, however, on occasion late shifts or on-call work may be requested. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
