What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Northern Virginia area. In this role you will be responsible for leading analysis, evaluation and integration of cloud-based systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing guidance on the design and delivery of a network infrastructure optimized for performance and resilience.

  • Providing cloud engineering expertise to support the design, delivery, and integration of infrastructure, platform, applications, and process solutions with cloud environments.

  • Guiding and mentoring development teams to expand cloud competencies.

  • Establishing application, environment uptime and utilization scaling parameters and metrics for monitoring and enhancements.

  • Establishing standard policy and compliance metrics to monitor cloud environment operations.

  • Coordinating with cybersecurity team members to establish performance and cybersecurity continuous monitoring frameworks.

  • Providing guidance for the application of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) build and sustainment standards pertaining to cloud environments.

  • Leading the analysis and development of information papers for emerging cloud based technology.

  • Leading the establishment of risk identification and tracking processes for the hosting environment infrastructure and hosted applications.

  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.

  • Communicating with other program personnel and government overseers, and senior executives.


What You Will Need:

  • A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Polygraph

  • SEVEN (7) or more years’ experience dealing with cloud system requirements, system development and implementation, system testing, etc.

  • Experience with Federal Government, DoD, or Intelligence Community customers


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET (TS) / SCI federal security clearance with FULL SCOPE (FS) Polygraph

  • Bachelor's

  • Relevant certifications and training in cloud based technology and systems integration
