Department/Unit Summary
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.聽
Essential Functions聽
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.聽
- Documents patient care given.聽
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.聽
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation聽
聽
聽Position does require call every 4th or 5th weekend. Holidays and weekly rotation
聽

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor鈥檚 degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Minimum Education聽聽
- Associate's degree required聽聽
- Bachelor's degree preferred聽
Licenses/Certifications聽
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.聽聽
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.聽
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required聽
- Chemo certification within one year of employment required聽
