SITE MERCHANDISING & WEB CONTENT ANALYST

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Site Merchandiser and Web Content Analyst. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Merchandise products within product categories to influence conversion rates and sales, balance with marketing initiatives and brand focus.
• Perform regular reviews of specified categories of merchandise to ensure content accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
• Manage, update, and maintain product listings on Microcenter.com, ensuring data accuracy. Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data.
• Build reports and communicate the effectiveness of category assortment to the broader team.
• Ensure website content meets the needs of our customers.
• Ensure maximum efficiency of web search results through proper insertion and incorporation of keywords.
• Coordinate timely responses to e-mail inquiries and product issues received via the website or retail store associates.
• Locate and correct data entry errors.
• Promote the website as an information and educational tool.
• Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
• Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for site improvements.
• Manage, plan, and execute on site improvement projects, as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• General knowledge of computers; processors, memory, storage, peripherals, and software. Consumer electronics, and accessories. Internet search engines, database management and databases.
• Background and/or general knowledge of ecommerce site merchandising
• Skilled at multitasking, PC software, and office applications.
• Knowledge of procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter, and have excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team.
• Familiarity with merchandising tools, such as Bloomreach preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
