JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for the oversight of several functional areas such as: Profit Management and Financial forecasting and reporting. Responsible for providing insight and analysis of financial operating results. Identifies trends and provides recommendations for various profitability drivers, including revenue, margin, expense management, and working capital management.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projectsDetermine the key drivers of variances versus last year resultsIdentify underperforming customers and vendors and the key drivers of profitabilityMake recommendations to management to improve profitability and support and produce financial reporting for Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Provide specific analysis as to the key drivers of expenses and the key drivers as to variances to last year and to planEnsure overall trends and the impacts of key initiatives are reflected accurately in the forecastProvide specific analysis as to the key drivers of expenses and the key drivers as to variances to last year and to planQUALIFICATIONSEducationBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics required (MBA/CPA and preferred)ExperienceAt least 5 years financial analyst and/or accounting experience requiredSkillsOrganizational, time management, and critical thinking skillsStrong computer skills and knowledge of financial reporting software Decision Making AuthorityStrong analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills and broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices and proceduresPlay a key role in the annual AOP processMost important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required):Participate in the recruiting and training of finance associatesResponsible for performance management and development of finance associatesExternal Job PostingJOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for the oversight of several functional areas such as: Profit Management and Financial forecasting and reporting.
