Our client is seeking a Design Assurance Engineer to join their team. As a Design Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for leads quality engineering activities for development projects from conception to commercialization, including development of the risk management file, completion of DHF deliverables, and significant involvement in design verification/validation. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Rate: Pay is between $40-47/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives mechanical product design quality, reliability, and compliance to standards and regulations
  • Leads preparation of risk management files and reports for product releases, and has primary responsibility for risk management activities from product conception through commercialization
  • Supports manufacturing process development & qualification for new product commercialization and product changes
  • Supports and ensures on-time execution of Quality Plans for OEM manufacturing for development projects and design changes
Requirements
  • Bachelor level degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Material Science or Biomedical) or related Science
  • 3+ years relevant experience within the medical device industry or related function
