Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Aeronautics Systems sector is currently seeking a Machinist 3 to join our team in Hopkinton, MA. You’ll be responsible for generating CNC programs using Mastercam. Set up and operate Haas VF using step files & solid models. Overall machine shop knowledge including the use milling and lathe machines. Ability to machine complex high power microwave parts to tight tolerance (+/-.001) in a secured environment. Close interaction with engineering and manufacturing is required. Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. Ability to generate Mastercam programs, set up and operate Hass VF2. Must be able to work from drawings/solid models. 4 years’ experience working in a machine shop. US Citizenship. Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds and stand for 4 hours at a time. Preferred Qualifications: Silver torch braze copper filter assemblies. Ability to operate ProtoTRAK Bed/Knee Mill. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
