As part of the Technology group, the Senior Product Manager will focus on delivering tools and applications that support the Government Guaranteed Loan (GGL) Business and Services. Ā This role requires a blend of strategic business analysis and hands-on application development, with a strong focus on leveraging Microsoft technologies.Ā The associate will develop in-depth understanding of the current technology tech stack, as well as a comprehensive expertise of the business processes and operations.Ā Furthermore, the associate will oversee and provide direction to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis (70%):
- Requirements Gathering:Ā Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), vendors, financial institutions, and end-users, to gather, define, and document business requirements and user needs.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serves as a functional subject matter expert (SME), provides internal consulting services to assigned functional area(s); coordinates activities with other functional areas and facilitates the implementation of cross-functional business system modules and/or enhancements. Skillsets should include bond mathematics and mortgage prepayment analysis.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within government guaranteed loan services.
- Market Research:Ā Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and development.
- Stakeholder Management:Ā Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with product goals.
- Solution Design:Ā Develop comprehensive business cases to support product development and strategic decision-making.
Application Development (30%):
- Product Development:Ā Oversee the end-to-end development process of software applications, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, Azure, SQL Server).
- Technical Specifications:Ā Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and ensure alignment with development and engineering teams.
- Quality Assurance:Ā Define and execute testing strategies to ensure that applications meet quality standards and perform effectively in real-world scenarios.
- Planning: Develops and maintains release schedules, working with the technology team to prioritize features and collaborates with other business units and technology teams as necessary for release management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, to ensure successful product delivery and integration.
- Documentation:Ā Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including user manuals, technical guides, and training materials.
