Staff Civil Structural Engineer Responsibilities
- Design structural steel supports, pipe racks, modular skids, and platforms.
- Engineer foundations for vessels, pumps, compressors, and other plant infrastructure.
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to resolve construction and design issues.
- Review RFIs and submittals; participate in walk-downs and design coordination meetings.
- Ensure projects adhere to current codes, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
Staff Civil Structural Engineer Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience with structural steel and foundation design
Staff Civil Structural Engineer Preferred Position Requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Familiarity with industry standards (PIP, ASCE, AISC, ACI)
- Experience in natural gas or petrochemical facility design
- Proficiency in RISA and/or STAAD structural analysis software
