About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Pathologist for a 120-day locum tenens position at a Clinic in Texas. This assignment begins on 06/02/2025 and offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with General Pathology, Surgical Pathology, GI Biopsies, Breast pathology, and frozen sections. The role involves managing an average of 15-20 cases per day, requiring efficiency and expertise in a variety of pathological examinations and diagnoses.

Responsibilities and Duties:Â
• Perform general pathology examinations and diagnosesÂ
• Conduct surgical pathology analyses, including frozen sectionsÂ
• Evaluate GI biopsies and breast pathology specimensÂ
• Manage and interpret an average of 15-20 cases dailyÂ
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide comprehensive patient careÂ
• Maintain accurate and detailed pathology reportsÂ
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as neededÂ
• Ensure adherence to all laboratory safety and quality control protocolsÂ
• Provide consultations to other healthcare providers as requiredÂ
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pathology department
Additional Information:Â
• Texas medical license requiredÂ
• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology preferredÂ
• Experience in high-volume pathology settings is beneficialÂ
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clinical teamsÂ
