Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. The qualified applicant will become part of the Northrop Grumman (NG) Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Logistics Team. Creating the maintenance tasks for the various components of IBCS. Performing Validation/Verification events, developing verification methods, and logistics product development in support of NG and the Army customer. The position will be in Huntsville, AL. The selected applicant will perform as a Logistics Management Analyst to provide Maintenance Engineering for NGC programs to help ensure maintenance requirements are being addressed and accomplished. The candidate will work with other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) personnel, system engineers, technical publications teams, configuration management, and Government maintenance representatives to develop Logistics Product Data (LPD) for the IBCS program. The desired candidate must understand the various aspects of maintenance concepts, engineering technical drawings, and supportability analysis to support the ILS team. Typical responsibilities include: Full knowledge of maintenance organization structures as applied to the Army’s two-level maintenance concept. Research and provide analysis of equipment failures. Perform Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)/ COMPASS tool Supportability Analysis and develop a LORA verified MAC. Visual SESAME tool experience and spares development. Identifies and reports safety hazards associated with the maintenance of a system or component. Develop reliability and maintainability analysis (RAM) for equipment readiness. Identify logistics impacts to technical data package approval. Knowledge of statistics, probability, logistics, and fundamental operation of the equipment. Roles and Responsibilities: Basic knowledge of LPD. Basic understanding of PowerLog-J database and maintenance product data development. Full knowledge for understanding of maintenance concepts. MUST have the ability to research, review, and understand technical information, interpret engineering drawings, and develop procedural information for technical documentation. Ability to research and understand engineering changes. Understanding of initial spares/repair parts development. Must have knowledge of military supply and maintenance procedures. Basic Qualifications: Nine years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree. or seven years with master’s degree required. Excellent computer skills combined with a 8 years of Microsoft Office experience Excellent written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated performance in anticipating needs, exercising a high degree of initiative, and exhibiting advance organization skills Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance standards with limited supervision Demonstrated ability to work in a fluid environment with diverse stakeholders Experience working in a government or government contractor environment Basic understanding of logistic elements; supportability, maintainability, and logistics support Ability to travel to other Northrop Grumman and customer locations (20%) Must have current/active Secret clearance, or ability to obtain one. Preferred Qualifications: Solid understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Supportability Analysis (SA), and maintenance concepts. Develop maintenance organization structures as applied to the Army’s two-level maintenance concept. Develop spares analysis, support equipment requirements, and personnel necessary to optimize the maintainability, and reliability of the end item. Maintainability Assessment (MA) and Maintainability Evaluation (ME) for operator and field maintainer maintenance and technical manual validation demonstrations. Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time, and potentially climb upon large vehicles or systems. May occasionally be required to lift to 50 pounds. Can travel (<10%) when required.
